A question about english

obviously I am not good at english
my teacher always said that even our class is the top of the school
the most outstanding student just able to get level 5 in the HKDSE at most

maybe that is a bit shocked to me...
so...I want to know that what is your effective way to learn english?

don't told me that find tutor is a good way
It seems that the price of a tutor is too high to me
I am a poor guy / . \

My English teacher had given us 3 As at the first lesson:Attention,Action and Attitude.
It is clearly given you a big hint for considering your learning attitude.
But, a superb learning mood is also helpful for your learning life, let tell and appeal your classmates making a superb learning mood la.

there is no such a better way that the use of english... speak more ( with english people ), read more ( english newspaper ) and the finally thing is listen more ( when first time i goto UK for study, the first thing i learn is using my ears. the more you can understand the use of words and sentence the better you can handle it )

YES!The major part of Eng. in HKEAA is listening.You(1#) better listen more la!(HKRT is a good choice)

<don't laugh me> will be much better...
and then after the verb "laugh" and the front of the object "me"
there should be a preposition "at" or "about".....
